Diamond, Harmonize, Alikiba Feature on Africa's Top 100 Musicians List

Several bongo musicians have been ranked among the top 100 artists in Africa. The list was announced by Pan-African entertainment TV Channel, WatsUp TV, and PR and rating agency Avance Media.

In the inaugural ranking, Tanzanian musicians; Alikiba, Diamond Platnumz, Harmonize, and Rayvanny made it to the list.

Worth mentioning is that Whats Up TV did not rank the musicians based on their achievements or greatness but followed an alphabetical manner. The list features musicians from 26 African countries.

Other notable names include; Angelique Kidjo, Burna Boy, Davido, Wizkid, Mohammed Mounir, Cassper Nyovest, Khaligraph Jones, Sarkodie, among others.

“This publication precedes several engagements honourees will be involved in to celebrate their work and the crafts they have gifted the continent,” said ABD Traore, CEO of WatsUp TV.

On the other hand, Avance Media MD Prince Akpah stated that the highlighted musicians are the best collections of African ambassadors, showcasing to the world what the continent has to offer musically.

Interestingly, big names from Tanzania like Nandy have missed out on the list despite making strides in the continent. The list was highly dominated by Nigerian and South African musicians.
