Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has revealed why he sidelined shows in Kenya before. This comes after Jux held an amazing show in Kenya on Valentine’s Day.
Jux stated that he has always wanted to conduct a show where he is the headliner backed by a big crowd. The singer said he has received invites for club performances mainly but snubbed them as they lacked an appeal.
Jux further noted that he intended to always perform in Kenya but he was looking for a show with substance.
“Siku zote nlikuwa nasema I was getting booking nikuje Kenya lakini nilikuwa nazikataa na kuzignore kwa sababu nilitaka siku nakuja kufanya show Kenya iwe show inadeserve mimi kufanya,” said Jux.
During the show, Jux was joined by Kenyan singer Otile Brown where they performed the ‘Regina’ single.
Jux, however, added that he has been in Kenya countless times but never got a chance to perform but work on music.
Apart from Otile, the Tanzanian singer has collaborated with Kenyan rapper Nyanshski. Jux further hinted that he might be working on a project with Sauti Sol as he is in communication with Bien and Savara.
