Why Diamond Platnumz is Better than Harmonize

Since quitting WCB, Harmonize has attempted to make a name for himself as a top bongo musician. Along the way, he has spurred a rivalry with his former boss Diamond Platnumz. Harmonize has shown all indications that he wants to replace Diamond by creating an independent music label alongside dropping massive projects. Despite Harmonize's efforts, he still has a long way to go, and here is why:

Experience

Diamond has a wealth of experience in the bongo music scene, from managing one of Africa's biggest labels to strategic music releases. Diamond has shown how his past mistakes shaped his music career to the top from time to time. On the other hand, Harmonize is still in his infancy stage as a label owner. For the Konde Boy, he is running on risky grounds considering that he launched the label with intentions to start from the top instead of building structures gradually.

Massive Following

There is no doubt Diamond is the most followed musician in Africa. By considering YouTube metrics, the singer has amassed over one billion views, a record in Africa. He boasts of a subscriber base that is always ready to support him. He has managed to build the following by understanding what his audience needs. Elsewhere, we cannot tell who are the real Harmonize followers. Notably, his followers came around while under the wings of Diamond. Although his talent cannot be denied, if we remove Diamond from the equation, it will be interesting to see where Harmonize stands in terms of following.

Humility

Humility is a vital human virtue, and Diamond has demonstrated the humble ones will succeed. Throughout his career, Diamond has never allowed his success to get into his head. The singer treats fellow artists will respect, and no particular time has he engaged in ugly beef no matter the provocation. Since quitting WCB, Harmonize has not shown the virtue of humility. Once he gets an opportunity, he has not resisted throwing shade at Diamond and other top musicians.

Success

By all measures, as a Tanzanian artist, Diamond has already achieved success, although he still has a long way to go. The singer has an established label, media house and collaborated with top musicians. If he decided to retire, history books would remember him as the most successful musician. Elsewhere, Harmonize is still finding his footing, especially across the continent.
