Global Music Awards Africa (GMAAs) organisers, have revealed nominations for its first edition with the agenda that seeks to “celebrate outstanding musical achievements in Africa and beyond while promoting the continent’s artists to global audiences.”
The event been organised by Smart Media and will held in March 2021

The categories include ‘Global Gospel Song of the Year,’ ‘Global Hip Hop Song of the Year,’ ‘Global Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year,’ ‘Global Afrobeats Artist of Year,’ ‘Songwriter of the Year’ and ‘Global Artist of the Year.’
Some of the musician who received nominations of different categories include; Sarkodie, Simi, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Burna Boy, Teni, Efya, Cuppy and others
