‘Sound From Africa’ is the first studio album for Rayvanny since beginning his music career back in 2011.
Following the release, Rayvanny adds to the growing list of bongo musicians who are releasing albums this year.
On February 14th, his label mate Mbosso is expected to drop his first studio album. This will be the third album under WCB after Diamond led the way with ‘Boy from Tandale’.
Elsewhere, Alikiba and Harmonize are also expected to release their albums later this year.
This is an emerging trend in the bongo scene where musicians are embracing albums as a new means of music distribution.
