Don’t be Deceived by Flashy Lifestyles, Musicians are Broke – Macky 2

Zambian rapper Macky 2 has addressed the sensitive subject of artists always being perceived to be rich even when they are not.

In a recent post on Instagram, Macky 2 crashed the perception that artistes form a rich base judging by the flashy lifestyle they put out there.

With a lot of honesty, Macky 2 delved deep into the “Fake it till you make it” theory which is a mantra for a lot of artistes.

He offered that most artistes are actors and whatever they do, does not reflect on their real lives.

“In the entertainment industry there is a common saying ati "fake it till you make it" ..Artists show you a luxurious lifestyle that we can't even afford ourselves, mainly because we understand that the more extraordinary something seems, the more it will attract attention.

“Most people believe normal is boring… I’m sure you know this but let me emphasis.. don't be misled by what you see on social media.. most of us are broke. And its ok for you to be broke at some point in your life. as long as you have a plan... set goals for yourself and work towards them at your own pace.” a word of advice, be patient and run your race,” Macky 2 said.
