The B2C music group was among a pool of Ugandan artists being considered for a nomination in the MTV 2021 Music Awards, under the Listeners' Choice Category, but unfortunately they didn't make the cut having collected the least votes.

Upon their nomination, a blogger took to social media claiming that the trio didn't deserve consideration for the award, as they were the less talented in the pool, also terming them a 'choir'.

"We can't please everyone. Sometimes you are appreciated and sometimes, they criticize you. It is bad to air out a negative thought about someone publicly because there are some who enjoy what we do,” Mr Lee responded to the blogger.

Over the past three years, B2C has had at least one hit song every year. In 2018, they had Gutamiiza ft. Radio and Weasel, Gutujja ft. Rema in 2019 and Munda Awo in 2020.
