Jah Prayzah Thanks Fans After 'Porovhoka' Surpassed One Million Views

Zimbabwean Afropop star Jah Prayzah has thanked his fans for making his New Year a success by supporting his music.

In a record for four weeks and two days, his newest jam ‘Porovhoka’ has one million views.
Awed by the level of support that he has been given by his fans, he wrote a shot message on his Instagram account thanking them for the support.

“4 weeks and 48 hours later, One Million Views and still number one trending. Team JP you are special always #porovhoka,” he wrote.

‘Porovhoka’ is a Shona word that translates to “do not provoke me”. Less than 12 hours after its release, it had over 60K views on YouTube.
Themed around life in parting and the hustles that come with it, ‘Porovhoa’ is a great song with a great video. Jah Prayzah who has an affinity for donning military fatigue this time around nailed it with a deep red pilot’s uniform and it was stunningly beautiful.

When he released the song in mid-December, some of his fans said it was a tribute to the late celebrity tycoon Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure. Ginimbi perished in a grisly road accident in early November in his luxurious Rolls Royce which caught fire after the accident and ended up burning him alive.
