Diamond Dominates Africa's Most Viewed YouTube Videos in 2020

Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz’s incredible 2020 has been capped after it emerged he had the most viewed song of the year in Africa.
The singer’s ‘Jeje’ single released in early 2020 was the most viewed song of the year on YouTube at 41.1 million views.
In second spot is 'Duduke' by Nigeria’s Simi with 29.2 million views.

Diamond holds the third spot with the 'Waaah' single featuring Kofi Olomide with about 25.1 million views, while 'Nobody' by DJ Neptune is fourth with 25 million views.
'Vibration' by Nigeria’s Fireboy DML ranks fifth with 23.2 million views, followed by Rayvanny’s 'Teamo' at 22.4 million views.
In the seventh spot is 'Gere' by Tanasha Donna and Diamond with 22.2 million views.

Otile Brown’s 'Dusuma' featuring Meddy ranks eighth with 19 million views.
Congo’s Innos B is ninth with 17.9 million views for his 'Olandi' single, while 'Shekere' by Yemi Alade from Nigeria caps the top ten most viewed songs with 16.4 million views.
Commenting on the ranking, Kenya’s Tanasha Donna thanked Diamond Platnmz for woring with her on the Gere hit.
