Jah Prayzah Dedicates ‘Munyaradzi’ Hit to Grieving Families

Zimbabwe’s Afro-beat sensation Jah Prayzah has started the year on a new high note celebrating departed souls.

His was a unique celebration as he chose to honour the departed souls through his hit song Munyaradzi.

In an event dubbed ‘Best of Both Worlds’ organized by Kayes Connect held over the weekend, he took to stage and sensationally performed Munyaradzi as his fans watched virtually.

“To everyone who lost their loved ones dai Mwari varikudenga vakunyaradzai,” he wrote thanking his fans for making Munyaradzi the video of the year. “#Thank you for making it the best video of 2020 #Munyaradzilive.”

Munyaradzi is a special song for Jah Prayzah. He released it in mid-2020 and it quickly became a hit after featuring the late Mimmie Moana as a vixen.

Mimie Moana perished in a grisly road accident late in the year after a car she was riding in belonging to celebrity businessman Ginimbi rolled and caught fire.

Ginimbi who was with Moana from a birthday party both perished in the accident. Jah Prayzah termed her death a big blow to Zimbabwe because she was greatly talented and had made a mark in the creative industry.
