How Ben Pol Almost Signed Maua Sama from Mwana FA

Tanzanian singer Ben Pol has come out to reveal how he almost signed singer Maua Sama.
Speaking during a recent interview, Ben Pol stated that after listening to Sama for the first time, he showed his intentions of signing the singer.
According to Pol, he first heard the singer through rapper Mwana FA. Ben Pol called on FA to sign the singer immediately, or he would add her to his label.

“Kwanza Mwana FA aliniskilizisha wimbo wake ‘So crazy’ kipindi hicho kabla hata haja msign...nakumbukumbuka tulikuwa Kigoma. Nikwambabia FA usipomsign huyu, mimi namsign...tukarekodi wimbo,” said Ben Pol.
Ben Pol made the revelation in the wake of Sama launching an initiative to pay regular bills for her fans across Tanzania.

Since joining the music industry, Sama first worked with Ben Pol while signed under Mwana FA.
Both Ben Pol and Sama have two records together; ‘This Love’ and ‘Amen.’
Sama’s blow out song was dubbed ‘Iokote’ that was received well across the region. In a previous interview, Sama stated that before releasing the song, she was on the verge of quitting music as things were working out for her.
