Naira Marley Drops New Song "Chi Chi"

Marlian boss Naira Marley dropped the new single titled "Chichi" together with ‘Koleyewon’ produced by Niphkeys, which translates to “they can’t understand” in Yoruba. The track lightly highlights the current state of Nigeria and the challenges the country has faced this year; most especially the #ENDSars movement.
Born on May 10, 1994, the ‘Tesumole’ singer has etched his name on the minds of many Nigerians since he came into the spotlight in 2019 with his knack for controversies.
He has made the headlines on numerous occasions since the dawn of the year.
In April, the 26-year-old was detained alongside Funke Akindele after the Nollywood actress hosted a house party that the singer attended, despite Lagos’ lockdown measures at the time.
He was also convicted and fined N200,000 by an Abuja mobile court for flouting COVID-19 guidelines after he staged a concert in Abuja in June.
