New Album Nigeria: 9Ice "Fear Of God"

Adigun Alapomeji, Nigerian singer and songwriter popularly known as 9Ice has finally released his second project in 2020 tagged “Fear Of God“ which comes as a follow-up to “Tip Of The Iceberg“, which was released in May.

This new album has in it 9 tracks with no guest appearance, 9ice officially released it exclusively on apple music and it is to be later distributed to other streaming platforms. The tracks include

9ice is the boss at Ancestor (formerly Alapomeji Ancestral Records, Alapomeji Records), which is a Nigerian record label founded in 2008 after he left Edge Records. In 2013, it was reported that Alapomeji Records artists which included the likes of Seriki Omo-Owo, Kayefi and Wise had left the label citing lack of support for their actions. In 2015, 9ice re-branded the imprint to Alapomeji Ancestral Records.
One of the successful videos and song by 9Ice is Living things released in March 2017.

In 2014, 9ice tried quitting music to go to the House of Representatives but was defeated in the primary elections even after a lot of support from his fans. One of his best quotes that really emphasize how proud he is of being whom he is says “English language has been imposed on us but God graciously gave Yoruba language to us.”
