Dulla Makabila Drops New Singeli Hit ‘Nimeghairi Kufa’ [Video]

Self-declared King of Singeli music Dulla Makabila has released a new song dubbed "Nimeghairi Kufa".
This is a Swahili phrase that loosely translates to “I cancel death”. In essence, Dulla Makabila highlights what would be the possible outcome of his death.
‘Nimeghairi Kufa’ bares a deep message reminding us that life is all about you, and as such, you should focus on being the source of your happiness.

“…Nimeghairi kufa…..Nimeghairi kujiua.Ila nikiwaza kibao kipi kata chura napagawa, pengine dem wangu nazikwa leo ikija kesho anaolewa, waloniita kila sehemu ndio watakaolia alafu mchango Fela na Tale wasitoe hata mia….” the song’s lyrics read in part.
In what looks like shade, Makabilla goes on to mention that Wasafi bosses; Mkubwa Fella and Babu Tale might even not contribute to his funeral.
‘Nimeghairi Kufa’ video was shot and directed by Majaking, while the audio was produced by Rashdonboss.

The song is slowly gaining traction with over 11,000 views on YouTube.
Meanwhile, Dulla Makabila is one of the few artists that have played a key role in propelling the growth of Singeli music in Tanzania.

The genre that had been sidelined has grown tremendous and is nowadays sampled by top artists including; Diamond, Rayvanny, Harmonize, Lava lava, Ben Pol among others.
