Celebrated Kenyan gospel artist Mr. Seed has pledged to support fifty upcoming gospel artists in Kenya.
Through the program dubbed StarbornImpact50, Mr Seed seeks to identify and support upcoming gospel artists in the country by nurturing their talents.
Taking to social media to announce this opportunity, Mr.Seed attached a voice-over which gave a detailed application including email and phone number, through which artists would be able to submit their portfolio for review.
“I believe we make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give. I was a product of someone's help and that's what made me who I am today. I promised God I will always hold anyone in need as long as it's for His Glory. There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up and that's why @starbornempirestudios and I have decided to run this #STARBORNIMPACT50 programme to identify, nature, and support all the talented acts around Kenya (different age group and gender) to achieve their Dreams. Do you think you got all it takes to be known in Kenya? Follow the details on the press for help. @starbornempirestudios @mrseednews,” he captioned on Instagram.
Mr. Seed also announced the first artist under the program under the name Giddy Vibes.
Meanwhile, Mr. Seed has been collaborating with upcoming gospel acts even before announcing Impact 50.
A month ago, he was featured in a jam dubbed ‘Ohala’ by Awicko, which has been a huge success, with celebrity acts like Jalang’o promoting the jam. The hit was received well by fans and currently has over 258,000 views on his YouTube channel.
