Over the weekend, Wasafi musician Rayvanny and other artistes from the label had a show in Mbeya; the home town for the ‘Amaboko’ hit maker.
The show which is part of a tour by Wasafi FM was considered a homecoming show for Rayvanny.
When Rayvanny took to stage, the crowd was elated with fans throwing dust and bottles on the stage. At some point, Rayvanny was forced to stop his performance as his security team took control of affairs in clearing the stage.

However, through his Instagram account, Rayvanny noted that he was overwhelmed by his fans' gesture.
According to the singer, the gesture from fans was a sign of love. "So the show is over as you can tell dust everywhere, this is love men… so on stage it was like a dust shower...Mbeya mngeniua sio kwa vumbi hili jamani," said Rayvanny in a short clip posted on his Instagram account.
Interestingly, Rayvanny did not appear to be bothered by the interruption. Instead, he took the opportunity to play a recorded message from Diamond.
