Bubbly Clarisse Karasira Announces Release Date for New ‘Inganzo y’Umutima’ Album

Rwanda’s music star Clarisse Karasira has announced her new album launch date.
Karasira’s new album dubbed ‘Inganzo y’Umutima’ will be launched on December 26 at the Kigali Serena Hotel.
This follows a phased reopening of live musical performance in Rwanda following a Cabinet meeting held a week ago and as led by President Paul Kagame.

At the event, Karasira will entertain 70 people who will be allowed to acess the venue due to the strict COVID-19 protocols in place.
She announced on her Instagram page that she has received a lot of love and support so far even as she works on releasing her album.
“I'm so thankful and humbled for the love and support you are showing me all our media houses,” she said.
‘Inganzo y’Umutima’ has 18 songs and one of them is the already popular ‘Rutaremara’.

To attend the concert, one is required to purchase the album for Rwf100K.
The bubbly traditional themed singer launched her career in 2018 after ditching journalism and describes this album as something that is both personal and close to her heart.
