Veteran Ugandan artist Jose Chameleone is one of the richest musicians in Uganda having been in the music industry for over 20 years.

Chameleone has invested his returns wisely and recently launched a television station dubbed ‘Leone TV’ expected to provide an avenue for Ugandan youth to showcase their talent including music.

Speaking during an interview with NBS TV, Jose Chameleone noted that he is investing wisely because he wants to leave a legacy that will keep his name on tabs even in his absence.

"My aim through all this is to write a story that will be remembered because the time people have spent supporting and giving me money, I understood that money can easily disappear. So I'm fighting to leave a legacy behind," he said.

According to Chameleone, the station will help young artists to broadcast their music to Ugandans all over the country.

He also noted that the project says is also among his agenda as the aspiring Lord Mayor of Kampala.

Meanwhile, Chameleone recently launched his campaigns vowing to make Kampala a better city if elected Lord Mayor.

He rallied his fans to vote for him when the general election comes in 2021.
