Ykee Benda Opens up on Nasty Accident that left him Nursing Injuries

Uganda Musicians Association President Ykee Benda has opened up on a nasty accident that left him nursing injuries on his face.

The Mpaka Records boss set social media ablaze when he posted photos of the accident, with netizens wishing him quick recovery.

Speaking during an interview with NBS TV, Ykee Benda noted that he was in company of his wife Julie Batenga and son Dante when the unfortunate event happened.

According to Benda, the accident occurred while he was trying to dodge a lorry that was heading towards him.

"We were approaching Salaama Road and a lorry driver came from nowhere with no lights and in a way of avoiding it, we drove into someone's fence.

"I got bruises and was stitched in the face. My baby and his mother didn't get any injuries. I don't know how but I thank God. They are very fine. Personally, I'm steadily recovering," Ykee Benda said.

The accident happened last Sunday on the 15th of November 2020.

Despite the accident happening over a week ago, his fans learned about it recently as Benda decided to focus on his treatment and healing before sharing the news.
