Macky 2 Ends Beef with Slapdee, Rallies Fans to Stream His New ‘Mother Tongue’ Album

Rivalry in the music industry popularly known as beef is not a new thing. Some artistes believe that beefing adds flavor to the industry and Zambia’s Hip hop stars Macky 2 and Slapdee are perfect examples.

A short while after getting into the industry in 2007, Macky 2 beefed with Slapdee which saw him release a diss track. This was to continue years later until recently when the two antagonists seemingly had a moment to reflect and decided to put an end to the bad blood between them.

A few weeks ago, Macky 2 and Slapdee featured in H-MAC’s ‘Tiliko’. This jam got fans talking a lot and it brought back the spirit of brotherhood in the industry besides the fact that it also featured the late vocalist Daev.

Beside the union by ‘Tiliko’, Macky 2 rallied fans to listen and download Slapdee’s new album ‘Mother Tongue’ which he released on Friday, November 20.

From this, fans praised Macky 2 for making such a bold move.
