Zimbabwean rapper King 98 has dropped a new song dubbed ‘I Bet’ promoting tourism in Kariba area, Zimbabwe.

Though based in South Africa, King 98 has not forgotten about the beauty of Zimbabwe at all.

Thousands of tourists flock Kariba every year making it a top destination for travelers. The Mega Kariba Dam on the end of Lake Kariba extends all the way to the Zambian border giving Kariba a unique ecosystem which makes it hot all year round.

Stephen Tsikirayi, King 98’s publicist said the video featuring Kariba was a way to promote tourism in Zimbabwe.

“King 98 as a Zimbabwean to the core of his heart has a desire to contribute to the economic development of his country even through tourism, hence, him shooting the video in Kariba,” he said as reported by Pindula.

The song was released over the weekend and has in two days managed to garner 31,000 views on YouTube.

His fans were so elated that they prophesied he will one day win a BET award over his good music.

“Sheesh . This man is gonna bring a BET Award one day,” Luis Zuba said.

Kevin Citiyo said: “Im still in shock....this guy is onto something.”
