Theatre in the Park Organizes Massive Concert for Zimbabwean Artistes

There is no doubt that Covid-19 pandemic has dealt a huge blow to musicians in Zimbabwe and other parts of the world too. Concerts which accounted for a huge chunk of their revenues have remained a theory that the talk of.
However, Zimbabwe has organized a live concert for local musicians to help them get back on their feet.
Through the Music in Africa Live courtesy of Rooftop Promotions’, the drums, guitar and mellow voices will rock once more.

It is an event that will be reminding people of how good it feels to listen to live music and rock to the sounds of drums and humming of the guitar.
Among those who will be performing is Vuyolwethu “Vuyo Brown” Ngwenya; a renowned Afro jazz gospel star based in Bulawayo.
Vuyo Brown will be performing for a second time. She will perform alongside three other Zimbabwean artistes. Daves Guzha, a producer for Theatre in the Park exuded optimism with the event saying that it is a big gain for local artistes.
“This event is not only for artists in Harare but for the rest of the country that is why we have invited artists from other cities like Bulawayo. “We are happy to welcome Vuyo to participate in our carefully curated program,” Guzha said as quoted by H-Metro.
On her part, Vuyo Brown said she is excited. “For me, this is just amazing and I feel very excited and honoured to have been considered in this programme,” she noted.
The event will be live streamed on Theatre in the Park Facebook Page and its YouTube page as well.
