A few weeks ago, ‘Dj Pius’ ‘Ubushyuhe’ remix featuring talented minds from East Africa including; Rosa Ree and Marina, Uganda’s A Pass and Rwanda’s finest Bruce Melodie was the talk of town.

It is a dope remix, not a doubt about it. However, what many people do not know is that it came after the original ‘Ubushyuhe’ was released four months ago done by Dj Pius featuring Bruce Melodie.

Hitherto, it is approaching a million views on YouTube, with 912K views. This is an indication that it was and still is a big song in the land of a thousand hills.

On radio, the song is among the most played with fans requesting it day in day out.

The ‘Ubushyuhe’ video is amazing with a night party theme in a house where a electrifying party goes on. Perhaps it is this indoor party setting that made it go viral at a time when clubbing was a vocabulary.

For ‘Ubushyuhe’ remix, DJ Pius told Mdundo at a past interview that the Tanzanian and Uganda stars in the song loved it from the start.

“They both liked the song and I rate them as among the best in EAC. The problem was Covid had us on Lockdown, to we had to come up with a plan to record, shoot a video, promote even though we were apart. It's what the record needed, top talented artists but connected thru art,” he said.
