Boondocks Gang Releases New Video Dubbed ‘Peng wa Mafilter’

Top Gengetone group Boondocks Gang has released a new jam dubbed ‘Peng wa Mafilter’.
‘Peng wa Mafilter’ is a feel good song where the group uses deeply coded sheng to pass across their message.
Like most of their songs, one needs to have a deep understanding of sheng in order to decode the message. Their songs are very popular among the youth who relate and understand the language.

‘Peng wa Mafilter’ was produced by super producer Magix Enga with Vikta Daniel directing the visuals.
“Genge la bundoksi!!! Morning our beautiful and outstanding fans, leo ni ile siku.Something new and fresh on our platforms, ni ngori na ni motoooo.Soo piga sub if you haven't, remember channel ni ile ile.” the group posted on Instagram while announcing ‘Peng wa Mafilter’s’ premiere.

On YouTube, the video is doing well with over ’45,000 views in barely a day.
This year Boondocks Gang has been delivering hits after hits. In addition, they have also done strategic collaborations with celebrated names in the Kenyan Music Industry.

Their last collaboration with Kansoul ‘Hainishtui’ released two months ago has over 680,000 views with ‘2020’ their own hit single, which was released seven months ago having over 540,000 views on their YouTube.
