Years back, Transit Crew Legacy always kept Zimbabwe entertained. It was always amazing to listen to their performances as they were full of energy and really engaged the crowd while performing.

Over the years though, things have not been the same with Cello Culture; one of the members of the having a daunting task to keep the memories of the group alive.

Cello told HMetro that death made it difficult to get the group back to where it was once upon a time.

Three of Transit Crew’s Legacy members have since passed on. The three who founded the group are; Culture T (lead vocalist), Samaita Zindi (lead guitarist) and Munya Nyemba (bass guitarist).

Cello, now 30 years old, plays most of the group’s music at Legends Pub & Grill in Newlands. He has been so determined to bring back the group but it is a herculean task given that some other members relocated to the UK.

However, Cello is considering activating the remaining group made up of Mic Inity, Mannex Motsi, Jehfari and Rungano Chaza. However, each one of them now performs with a different group but thank Transit for teaching them the ropes in Zim Reggae.

Cello currently plays with Antony Liba who has been Transit Crew Legacy’s keyboard player since back in the day.
