Music is all about who does it better when and to who; This was the theme that guided a deejaying battle between two Zimbabwean disc jockeys; DJ Tamuka and DJ Level.

The two DJs took their skill and taste for Zimbabwean music online courtesy of Herbal Solution.

Besides deejaying, these two entertainers are producers and this was their time to warm up their way into the hearts of their fans by playing music which they exclusively produced.

When the turntables got to work, the only thing that fans talked of was the thrill of good music and good competitive spirit.

They also promoted a whole lot of artistes whose music was being played.

“This is a true reflection of how these two have worked hard and synced with plenty of talented artistes,” posted a netizen identified as Godfrey Bakasa.

Although they both nailed, DJ Levels caused a stir with his Zimdancehall classics which he dropped beat after beat. He identifies more with this genre which he has produced.

“Paita Party” by Winky D, Ras Caleb (Tokwe Mukosi), Bazooker, (Handikukwata) and Enzo Ishall (Mama) got huge airplay from DJ Levels while Simba Tagz and Ex Q’s tune “Zvakanaka”, Nutty O’s “Safe” got a fair share of airplay by DJ Tamuka.

Speaking of the deejaying battle, DJ Tamuka was all praises telling The Herald Arts that he was impressed by the level of maturity exhibited by fans.

An elated DJ Levels called for a re-match while declaring himself the winner of the day.
