Nigerian Music For The Weekend: Top Trending This Week

The Nigerian Music Scene is bubbling with brand new tunes this week with ease of EndSARS Campaigns and a small provision for the music makers to hit to their studios. Here are some of the highlights as we get into the weekend.
1. Naira Marley - IdiOremi (Opotoyi2)
The President Naira Marley dropped this single ‘Idi Oremi’ (‘Bum’ in English) on 30th September 2020. A month down it's release, the song has received 2.4 Million views and in counting as it still tops weekly Youtube charts.
'Idi Oremi’ is set to be an easy win as Naira Marley coined the track ‘Opotoyi 2’ a continuation of his first Marlian anthem. This song is part of his forthcoming EP B2DS (Belong 2 Da Streets) coming at the end of the year.
2. Banky W - "Talk and Do" feat. 2Baba, Timi Dakolo, Waje, Seun Kuti, Brookstone & LCGC
Just "talking" about our problems is not enough - we've got to try and do something about them. That's what "Talk and Do" is all about... combining actions with our words, to try and be a part of the change we'd like to see in the world. If you're already doing something... anything... to be a part of the solution, then hopefully this can be your soundtrack. And if you're not... then hopefully this can be your inspiration.
3. WizKid - Ginger ft. Burna Boy
The long wait is finally over. Wizkid has released the long awaited album and is now available for streaming and downloading.
In the album, which is Wizkid's fourth since the debut one 'Superstar' released in 2011, the Starboy Entertainment boss features American Grammy awards winner H.E.R, Ella Mai, Jamaican artists Projexx and Damian Marley and fellow Nigerian artists Tems, Starboy Terri, Skepta and Burna Boy
4. WizKid - Blessed (Audio) ft. Damian Marley
This is part of the 14-track album released by Wizkid.
5. Ajebo Hustlers - Barawo Remix feat. Davido
The Davido aided remix for the conscious number about the diminishing state of the country, extrajudicial killings, and police brutality comes just the #EndSARS movements is hitting a fever high across the globe.
