Multiple award-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter Wizkid is expected to announce the new release date for his most anticipated album 'Made In Lagos'.

The 14-track project had originally been scheduled for release on October 15 but Wizkid had to suspend the plans following the nationwide #EndSARS protests that rocked Nigeria.

But with things slowly calming down, Wizkid is now expected to announce the new date that the project will be dropping.

In a tweet on October 27, the Starboy Entertainment boss indicated that the announcement would be made in his next tweet, which is just a matter of hours or days to be posted

"#MadeinLagos In a min...next tweet..," read Wizkid's tweet.

'Made In Lagos' will be the fourth studio album from Wizkid after 'Superstar' released in 2011, Ayo (2014) and Sounds From The Other Side (2017).

In the upcoming body of works, Wizkid is said to have featured a number of top artists among them HER and Ella Mai, Jamaican artists Projexx and Damian Marley and fellow Nigerian artists Tems, Starboy Terri, Skepta and Burna Boy.

Wikzid has already released two songs off the album: 'Smile' in which he features HER and 'No Stress'.

The two songs have performed well with 'Smile' having an official video released about a month ago.
