Naija musicians have taken all the slots in this week's top 5 most-streamed Afrobeats artists on the digital music platform - Audiomack.

Afrobeats also known as Afro-pop or Afro-fusion is an umbrella term used to describe popular music from West Africa and the diaspora that initially developed in Nigeria, Ghana, and the UK in the 2000s and 2010s.

We take a look at the 5 artists and some of the projects that helped put them among the top:

5. Davido

The American-born Nigerian singer has hardly dropped new projects during the whole of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Davido was expected to release a new album - 'A Better Time' but he is yet to announce the release date.

However, he recently dropped the hit single 'FEM' that continues to be received massively, and has played a key role in helping the afropop star rank fifth this week.
