Ghanaian hiplife singer Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, popularly known by her stage name as Mzbel has confessed to being poor at keeping secrets, and that she says things as they are.

Speaking during an interview by Nana Ama McBrown on United Showbiz, The ’16 years’ singer said that whenever she makes any friends she tell them all her personal details, which they later use to trash her name once their friendship goes sour. She further explained that the reason behind her staying away from music for a while was because her name had been tainted by people she once called friends and revealed all her personal dirt to world.

“I don’t know how to keep secrets and that is why I say things how they are. When someone becomes friends with me, within 24 hours the person gets to know everything about me because I tell the person everything,” she said.

Mzbel further said: “When you have a strong manager, he or she guides you on what to say and what not to say in public. For instance, if I had someone like Kiki Banson who groomed Becca so well, I would have known what to say in public and what not to say but as it stands now, I say things as they are without checking whether I am on the radio or not.”

Nonetheless, the sensational songstress made it clear that not everything that has been said about her is true as some are just false allegations.
