No more disappointments, Kantai promises
26 October 2013
They say it’s not over until the fat lady sings! But who is this fat lady and how fat is she? Why does she sing only when it's over? What does she sing? Is it jazz or something more rock-like?
Well, wherever that saying came from it means you don't know how this story is going to end until the last full stop.
A lot has been written and said about one of the hottest rappers in Kenya, at least at one point in history; Chris Kantai, but what has not been said enough is that the rapper is still relevant in 2013.
Take a ride, a walk or sit down for coffee with Chris and all the above will begin to make sense.
The rapper dropped by the office for a chat earlier this week and has got a strong will, determination and a lot that has to be put in records as he makes a comeback.
Early-to-mid 00’s was when Kantai was at the peak of his career and he came in hard with his rapping skills showing his prowess in a way never done before in Kenya. We all loved his style.
Many may think that the announcement of his comeback is just that and soon the news will die off and no more Kantai sense, but then hear it straight from the horse’s mouth; ‘I’m back!’
“….I have been missing in action for a minute but I promise my loyal fans that I’m now here to stay and no more disappointments,” he told Mdundo in short.
Enough said, let’s get to action. Next time we are posting here is news about a new track. Meantime download some of already recorded tracks via the link tagged below.
