Alikiba Takes over Mdundo Top 10 Weekly Chart with New Mediocre Single

Kings Music boss Alikiba is now the top artist in the Mdundo Top 10 Tanzanian weekly chart.

Alikiba made it to the top thanks to his new hit ‘Mediocre’ that has been received really well across the East African region.

It is worth noting that he is among the few artistes that have managed to make it to the top spot on the chart less than a week after releasing a new song.

Alikiba now displaces Harmonize who was previously on the top thanks to his ‘Jeshi’ hit single.

In addition to ‘Mediocre’ Alikiba also has two other jams; ‘Dodo’ and ‘So Hot’ on the top ten.

Other artistes who made it to this week’s top ten chart include; Diamond, Jux, Ibraah and Marioo.

Unlike previous weeks where one or two foreign songs would sneak into the top ten, this week the chart is dominated by locals songs only, an indication that fans are paying more attention to local content.
