Simi Dedicates Her Upcoming 'Restless II' EP To Husband, Announces Release Date

Nigerian singer, songwriter and actress Simi has penned down an emotional piece, reflecting on the journey towards her upcoming EP titled 'Restless II'.
In piece shared on her social media pages on Wednesday, September 23, Simi said she was anxious, excited, curious and grateful about the project.
She also noted that she dedicates the EP to her husband, Nigerian highlife singer Adekunle Gold, whom she says played a key role in the project - including naming it.
"I dedicate #RestlessII to my husband and ride or die for a lifetime, Kunle. Without you, this project would literally have never existed. Thank you for pushing me to find the lock of my box and throw it away, so I could explore my potential. You told me to do this, you even named it. Thank you Moruf," read part of a lengthy post.
Simi who on May 30th welcomed her first born son further narrated how the son - Deja, made her sick in the middle of putting together the 'Restless II' EP.
"Deja I want to thank you too, but I was sick as heck and throwing up like a water hose when I was making this project, (because of you) - so I don't know baby. Let daddy take this one," she noted.
In the post, Simi also revealed that the EP will officially be dropping on October 2.
The 16-minute EP that contains 6 tracks including the recently released single 'No Longer Beneficial' is already available on various digital platforms for pre-order.
RESTLESSII PREORDER
The EP will be a follow-up to Simi's hit single 'Duduke' that she released earlier this year.
She has also been featured in several other songs this year among them LadiPoe's hit 'Know You' and the 'Gobe Remix' that 2Baba enslisted her and Tiwa Savage.
