Alikiba Drops Strong Hints on His Upcoming Project

Tanzanian singer Alikiba has hinted on a new upcoming project. Through his Instagram account, Alikiba shared several graphics of a project he has titled ‘Mediocre’.
The graphics translated the word mediocre in different languages, but he did not provide any further information.
“Ushamba mwiko kwa watoto wa k’ko,” one of the graphics read.
It is not clear if the project is an extended playlist, album, or single and only time will tell.

The project adds to one of Alikiba’s busiest years since joining the music industry where he has released two songs with a space of two moths.
Early this year, Alikiba dropped the successful ‘Dodo’ single followed by ‘So Hot’ in May.
Notably, Alikiba is known to release only one song in a year. In his career, Alikiba has only released one album dubbed ‘Cinderella’ which introduced him to the music industry.
Music pundits argue that it is time Kiba dropped another album to keep up with established and emerging talents in the bongo music scene.
In an earlier interview, Kiba noted that the lockdown imposed as a means of controlling the coronavirus pandemic gave him more time to record new music. Additionally, the singer has been hosting a series of live performances across Tanzania.
