Wendy Shay Praises Late Ebony Reigns for Paving Way for Female Artists in Ghana

Renowned Ghanaian female artiste Wendy Shay has hailed the late Ebony Reigns for paving the way for the young and upcoming female artiste in Ghana, and encouraged other female artiste to also accord her the respect she deserves even in her death.

The RuffTown signee has called upon all the female artists who have been influenced in one way or the other by Ebony Reigns’s fame to be grateful to the late Ghanaian songstress, who passed away more than two years ago.

According to the Ghanaian Singer, Ebony has played a big role in shaping the music career for female artistes in Ghana and its only right that each person who has felt the influence be grateful.

Taking to her twitter account, Wendy shay wrote; "All the female artiste that came after Ebony including myself should be thankful to her because her career shed light upon the female fraternity and made people pay attention to us."

The late Ebony Reigns was a signee of Rufftown Record Label, which is the same label that Wendy Shay is signed to. The management has seen Wendy Shay grow over time despite the backlash she faces from the public, that she tries hard to copy the late Ebony’s style.
