Pure Pop Gold: Don Jazzy Says About Adekunle Gold's Upcoming Album

Veteran Nigerian record producer and singer Don Jazzy has heaped praises on the soon to be released 'Afropop Vol 1' album by Highlife singer and songwriter Adekunle Gold.

The album is scheduled for release this Friday, August 21, and Don Jazzy says he has been given a chance to listen to some of the songs before they are officially dropped.

After listening to the songs, the Marvin Records boss reached a verdict that the album is "Pure Pop Gold".

In a post on his official Twitter handle, Don Jazzy listed some of the songs he has listened while heaping praise on each of them.

He listed at least five songs while pointing out that 'Sabina' was technical, 'Pretty Girl' a pure vibes and that the song 'Exclusive' had touched his soul.

In general, Don Jazzy said in 'Afropop Vol 1', "You guys are in for a treat!"

'Afropop Vol 1' will be Adekunle Gold's that studio album. The 10-track album contains a recently released hit single 'AG Baby' featuring Trinidadian singer and songwriter Nailah Blackman.
