Diamond Explains Why His Official DJ Romy Jons Hasn’t Been Signed by WCB

Bongo star Diamond Platnumz has explained why his official DJ Romy Jons is not yet signed to the Wasafi label.
Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Diamond pointed out that he has a long history with Jons to a point of trusting him with a senior position in the Wasafi Media team.
Diamond noted that signing Jons to WCB will not make sense because his position goes beyond being signed to the label.
Notably, Jons is also the head of music on Wasafi media and also one of the Vice Presidents for the label.
“Kikubwa si kuwepo ndani ya WCB...yeye cheo chake ni kikubwa kuliko kuwa signed ndani ya WCB. Hiyo haibadilishi chochote kwa sababu mimi niliona kumsign si kitu kikubwa nikiangalia tulikotoka,” said Diamond.

Diamond further stated that when he began his music career, Jons held his hand in the industry showing him how to go about certain aspects.
According to Diamond, having a long career in music, Jons helped him with the necessary connections in the industry.
Romy Jons is also a renowned media personality holding a senior position in the Wasafi media team.
On Sunday, Jons launched his album as an independent artiste and it was graced by all the Wasafi crew.
