One of the Wasafi label managers Sallam SK has shared the intrigues behind the exit of Harmonize from the label and the formation of Konde Worldwide.

Speaking during an interview on Monday, Sallam pointed out that Harmonize approached him with the idea of forming a new record label.

According to Sallam, he welcomed the idea and even advised Harmonize on how to set up a new label while at the same time retaining his Wasafi fan base.

The manager advised Harmonize to form an imprint of Wasafi as opposed to breaking off and going independent.

Sallam pointed out that he gave Harmonize an example of Lil Wayne’s Young Money record label that operates under the original Cash Money.

In this case, Konde Worldwide would have been a branch of WCB.

Sallam made the revelation in an attempt to dismiss reports that he had bad blood with the artiste.

“Nilimpa the whole picture, how you can open your label and still have your WCB fan base...niliawambia vile Lil Wayne alivyofanya na Cash Money,” said Sallam.

At the same time, Sallam claimed that he even helped Harmonize come up with the Konde Worldwide name for his label.

Harmonize is yet to address the claims made by Sallam.
