Alikiba Responds to Claims of Trailing Behind Diamond’s WCB

Tanzanian singer Alikiba has responded to claims that his Kings Music label is lagging behind on matters promoting musicians as compared to WCB.
Currently, Kings Music and WCB are among the largest music labels in Tanzania.
However, musical figures view WCB as the hard-working label thanks to the number of new projects by most of their artistes.
Additionally, the WCB label is known to aggressively market musicians.
Speaking during a recent interview, AliKiba dismissed the notion stating that both labels cannot have a similar working schedule.
He noted that the label cannot manage musicians by imitating WCB.
"Lazima tutafuatiane...lakini pia ufanyaji wa kazi ni tofauti...huwa tuna push wasani lakini si lazima iwe vile unavyotaka...kazi zinaenda vile zinavyotakikana kuenda,” said Alikiba.

WCB is under Diamond Platnumz who is perceived to be Alikiba's rival as far as battle of the King of Bongo music is concerned.
Alikiba was speaking ahead of his upcoming Kigoma show slated for the 14th of this month.
During the show, Alikiba will be accompanied by other local musicians like Billnass and Kayumba. He has ruled out inviting foreign musicians for the show.
