Nandy Comes Clean on Claims She’s Planning to Quit Music

Tanzanian singer Nandy has addressed reports on quitting music this year.
Towards the end of last year, Nandy revealed that she might be taking a break from music this year, sending panic among fans.
However, speaking on Wednesday, Nandy clarified that she has no plan to quit music completely.
The 'Acha Lizame' singer noted that she plans to do music part-time since the craft is part of her life.

“Sikusema nawacha, nilisema ntaanza kujitoa nje ya muziki...bila muziki singekuwa Nandy. Muziki ni sehemu ya maisha yangu...kuan muda itafika sitakuwa full time muscians,” stated Nandy.
The singer added that she is preparing her fans physiologically so that they don't panic once she takes a break.
According to fans, Nandy might be planning to quit music and focus on business considering that this year, she has received a high number of endorsement deals.
Additionally, the singer is set to wed his fiancée rapper Billnas later this year.
Her sentiments come at a time when top Tanzanian singer Vannessa Mdee took a break from music stating that her life had been disoriented.
However, Mdee later clarified that she will still produce music but not professionally.
