Ghanaian award winning Afropop musician, Wendy Shay treated her patrons alike and fans to a hype live band music for over an hour at her pay-per-view charity driven event titled Survival concert at the Kri8 Mansion.

The concert was a Wendy Shay Foundation initiative with support from Rufftown Records and Kri8 concepts. The initiative was aimed at raising money to help the less privileged people in the society and to reduce poverty.

The Wendy Shay initiative was started in the year 2019 and has seen the vocal powerhouse with support from benevolent donors donating to various charities across the country, as well as her record label, Rufftown record that has stood with the initiative since its birth. People who mostly benefit from the initiative are orphans, single mothers, widows, prisoners, street kids and many other needy cases.

The concert saw the brand ambassador for the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) in Ghana; unleash classic hits from her catalogue as she interacted with her fans.

Despite facing a lot negative criticism from Ghanaians, the ‘emergency’ hitmaker has grown tremendously. She has done good collabos with music giants such as Shatta Wale. She is set to release a new single soon featuring Black Arm music signee, Kelvynboy.
