Speculation Continues as Bahati Drops another Secular Song ‘Missing You’

Award-winning musician Bahati has dropped a new jam dubbed ‘Missing You’ creating speculation among his fans that he has ditched the gospel industry.
‘Missing You’ is a secular song where Bahati decries loneliness after his girl left him due to unfaithfulness in the relationship.
While everything about the song is on point, a section of music lovers are more concerned with Bahati’s new releases, which have been leaning more towards love rather than the gospel.
However, the musician is yet to issue a statement on whether this new jam marks his switch from gospel to secular, considering that it is his second consecutive secular jam.

The debate on him ditching the gospel industry started last month when he dropped a love song dubbed ‘Wanani’.
Explaining why he decided to drop a secular song, Bahati divulged that he has a lot of fans who have different needs. According to him, some of his fans listen to his music for spiritual nourishment, while others listen to his tracks hoping to get encouragement especially in matters love.
“Kwa wimbo wangu mpya ‘Wanani’ I just wanted to do something tofauti kiasi, sababu nina mafans tofauti tofauti. Kuna mafans ambao nawafeed kiroho na kuna mafans ambao pia wanafaa kuwa encouraged in terms of love issues, sababu mapenzi ni maisha yetu ya kila siku. So I just did something unique,” he said.
