In what seems like a collabo season, Wasafi founder Diamond Platnumz has teamed up with Zimbabwe’s King 98 for a new track dubbed ‘Kachiri’.
‘Kachiri’ is an African dance styles that is dominated by the whining of waists.
In the new release, the artistes hype their ladies to dance for them with pride.
Diamond goes all in singing how crazy she makes him feel when she dances and whines her waist.
On his part, King 98 stresses on the girl’s beauty and dance prowess.
“Kazima na moto (ah), Nifwate Mtoto(ah), Yaani chocho kwa chocho , Joto kwa joto (raah), Nitazima na moto , basi nifwate mtoto, Eh chocho kwa chocho, More juice dance to the shoko….” The song’s lyrics read in part.
The lyrical part did not require so much effort with the message rather clear about the girl they all want.
The visuals to this song were done by Zoom Extra under Wasafi Classic.
The creativity in the visuals was nicely done with beat transitions that blend with the scene changes.
So far, the song is doing relatively well with over 60k views On YouTube. The video is expected to do much better considering that it was posted on Diamond’s YouTube channel which is the biggest in the region.
