Legendary Musician Mrisho Mpoto Takes Credit For Harmonize, Diamond Truce

Legendary Tanzanian musician Mrisho Mpoto has claimed that he played a key role in the truce between Diamond Platnumz and Harmonize.
Speaking on Wednesday, Mpoto pointed out that he advised President John Magufuli to ensure the musicians were back on talking terms.
“Niliona rais ana nguvu zaidi nikaona awashauri,” said Mpoto.
On Sunday, Harmonize and Diamond shared the stage at the Dodoma State House during a campaign rally.

During the session, Magufuli called on the musicians to unite considering that they are young.
The incident also involved Alikiba who has been perceived as a rival to Diamond. At one point, Harmonize thanked Diamond for giving him a platform to thrive musically and even launch a music label.
During the campaign event, there was a historic moment when Harmonize, Diamond, Alikiba, and Nandy shared a table.
Before the truce, a beef was brewing between Harmonize and the Wasafi crew to a point of getting physical.
During the burial of Babu Tale’s wife, Diamond’s manager Sallam SK shoved Harmonize’s hand when he reached out to greet him. The incident put the icing on the cake regarding the relationship between the two.
