Tanzanian singer Nandy has come out to apologize to fans who were denied access to her show in Dodoma.

On Sunday, Nandy held a sold-out show in Dodoma and some fans were locked out since the venue was full.

Through an Instagram post on Monday, Nandy thanked her fans for showing her support in her first show after the corona virus lockdown.

“Nitangulize shukrani kwa wote walio pata nafasi yakuhudhuria show yangu ya jana na niwaombe radhi watu wote walio zuiliwa kuingia kwa sababu ya wingi wa watu na ticket kuisha mapema.... next time tutaifanya kwenye eneo kubwa zaidi! DODOMA JAMUHURI YA WAPAMBANAJI,” posted Nandy.

The show was her first in a series of lined up performances across Tanzanian provinces. After the lockdown, several artistes are promoting upcoming shows in different parts of Tanzania.

Alikiba is among notable names with upcoming shows with the first slated on July 31 in Kigoma.

Additionally, Wasafi’s Zuchu will be hosting her first performance in Dar es Salaam next week, with Mbosso lined up to perform in Tanga later this month.

In Tanzania, things have resumed to normal, with gathering being allowed a few weeks after the nation was declared free of the deadly corona virus pandemic.
