Diamond's Manager Lands New Deal with Universal Records

Diamond Platnumz’s manager Sallam SK has been appointed to be the representative of Universal Records in East Africa.
The news was revealed by Diamond Platnumz on Monday during a press conference in Dar es Salaam.
"Sijui kama naruhusiwa kusema ama niseme...lakini boss wangu Sallam atakuwa mwakilishi wa Universal East Africa lakini tunaaminiuwepo wako utawafadhili wanasanii,” said Diamond.
According to Diamond, he was not supposed to reveal the information at the forum since it was the role of Universal.

The ‘Jeje’ singer further pointed out that the appointment of Sallam will go a long way in helping musicians considering that he has the necessary experience.
Diamond who has been working with Universal Records for about four years now, stated that the opportunity has been the best.
He noted that working with such a label has enabled him to professionalize his act. The record label has mainly been involved in distributing his music.
The Wasafi president also revealed that he is currently negotiating with Universal to extend his contract.
The American-based music label is reportedly looking into working with other Wasafi artistes.
Diamond’s press conference was meant to brief the public about the upcoming Zuchu Concert later this week.
