Wendy Shay Repents As Earth Tremor Hits Parts Of Accra

Rufftown records signee Wendy Shay took to her Twitter page to beg for forgiveness from God for singing profane songs after some parts of Accra were hit by an earth tremor causing fear and panic amongst the citizens.

The earthquake with an estimated magnitude of 4.0, hit parts of Accra on 24th June, 2020 at around 10:49 P.M. Some of the areas the quake was felt as monitored on social media included Gbawe, McCarthy Hill, Dansoman, Lapaz, Achimota, Tesano, Santa Maria, Adenta, Weija, Madina, Kwabenya, East Legon, Nsawam, Koforidua, Swedru among others.

Social media went into a chaotic mood as many people including celebrities kept wondering if the world was coming to an end, or if it was the Biblical rapture mentioned in the Christian Bible. The likes of Lydia Forson, Nadia Buari, Nana Aba Anamoah amongst others described the tremor as scary.

Well, reacting to this, Rufftown records signee Wendy Shay who was clearly shaken by the event took to her Twitter page to beg for forgiveness from God for singing profane songs. According to Wendy Shay, God should forgive her her sins if he is going to end the work. She went to promise never to sing any of her profane songs.

She wrote “Did u guys feel the earth shake? Pls Jesus forgive me all my sins if you coming tonight..I promise I won’t sing supuu again.”
