Ghanaians Say I’m the Queen of GH Music, and So I’ve Accepted That Title

Songstress Wendy Shay always refers to herself as the queen of Ghanaian music, and that’s her acclaimed title. Well, according to the Ghanaian songstress, people started referring her as the queen of GH music, and so she gladly accepted the title. “I was not the one who brought in that queen title. Many music lovers started referring to me as the Queen of Ghanaian music because of my hard work and hit songs, and so I gladly accepted that title”

Wendy Addo, known by the stage name Wendy Shay, was born in Accra, a suburb of the Greater Ghana. After the death of her father, she relocated to Germany with her three siblings. Wendy's passion for music developed shortly after losing her father at the age of 4 years old.

She was introduced to music by Rufftown Records Manager Bullet and signed in January 2018 and on 1 June 2018; Wendy Shay released her debut single "Uber Driver.

The 24 year old vibrant songstress also revealed to the public that she was single and ready to mingle. In the same post, the First lady of arguably the best record label in Ghana, Rufftown Records- went ahead and listed the qualities that she wants in a man, she would love to date.

Wendy Shay said,“I’m single and ready to mingle. I don’t have an ideal man though. My man should be God-fearing, we should have the same vision, and you don’t have to be stingy”
