Inside Diamond Platnumz’s 25-song Quarantine Playlist

As most people stay at home due to the Coronavirus pandemic, music has offered an efficient and quick escape option.
To help people with the quarantine, Wasafi President Diamond Platnumz has shared with fans his favourite songs that keep him grounded while at home.
The playlist shared on his Twitter account comprises songs from African musicians and also international acts.

Notably, the playlist is dominated by Wasafi Classic signed musicians with Mbosso, Rayvanny, and Lava Lava dominating.
It is no surprise that Diamond's first song on the playlist is 'Jeje', which has been received well across the region.
While in quarantine, Diamond is also listening to 'Tetema' where he features Rayvanny,'Tamba' by Mbosso, 'Utatulia' by Lava Lava among others.
Other Tanzanian musicians to make the list include Meja Kunta and Zuchu. America’s king of RnB Neyo has two entries on the playlist with his feature 'Marry you' and 'Do You'.
From the US Chibu is also listening to 'Let me love you' by Mario, 'Wild Thoughts' by DJ Khaleed, and Yummy by Justin Bieber.
One of the notably absentees in Diamond’s playlist is Harmonize, who parted ways with the Wasafi crew several months ago.
