Diamond Hints at Releasing New Album Soon

Wasafi’s boss Diamond Platnumz has hinted at the possibility of releasing a new album soon.
Speaking during an interview with BBC Africa, Diamond noted that due to the corona pandemic, he does not have shows and other events to attend, and as such, he has more time to write songs and work on his upcoming album.
“Kusema kweli nmekua nikisafiri sana, kwa hiyo namshukuru Mungu nmepata time ya kukaa nyumbani, ipo siku nasafiri mara kwa mara, nmepata muda sasa niko naamilizia album yangu mpya. Nmepata muda wa kukaa na family najifunza vitu vingi sana…” he said in part.
At the moment, Diamond has one album dubbed ‘A Boy from Tandale’ that he released in March 2018.
The album released under the Universal Music Group was a big success, and it opened doors for Diamond across the continent, and the World over.
Fans are eagerly waiting for the new album, as Diamond has been producing massive hits over the past few months.

Currently, he is riding high with his hit single ‘Jeje’ that has gone viral, leading to the creation of a dance and an animation video.
His hard work and determination, has seen him being branded the best musician in Tanzania, and the entire East African region.
